Q: What is the Arts Council of Marion County?
A: The Arts Council (ACMC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts and artists in Marion County.
Q: How can I join the ACMC?
A: To join, simply send us your contact information through our Contact page, and we will send you the registration materials. Membership rates vary, starting with $35.00 per year for an individual.
Q: I am married and have two children. Would each of us have to purchase a membership to join?
A: You can join at our family rate of $65.00 per year. That includes all of you in the ACMC membership.
Q: What are the benefits of membership?
A: There are many benefits. First, your membership dues will support the events and scholarships sponsored by the ACMC. Next, you will receive our quarterly newsletter, ArtBeat, as long as you are a member. Also, you will receive discounted admission rates for selcted ACMC events and have the opportunity to vote for Board Members and policies at our annual meeting. And, of course, you will be invited to the annual Member Appreciation Party. In addition to these tangible benefits, you will have the opportunity to represent the ACMC in the community and help us help Marion by increasing local awareness and appreciation of the arts.
